Disclosed DUI Sobriety Checkpoints in the San Francisco Area
Law Enforcement will saturate the Bay Area looking for DUI/DWI drivers this Holiday Season. Today an article on the front page of the Chronicle confirms this fact. Please be careful while celebrating the holidays:
The following DUI/DWI Checkpoints were found as a result of an internet search today. They all will be in the evening starting at approximately 5 pm and lasting until approximately 2 am
In Marin County there will be a checkpoint on December 30th in San Rafael from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and on Saturday, January 2nd in Novato from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
In San Francisco there will be a checkpoint on December 26th manned by five motorcycle officers.
In Newark in Alameda County on January 2nd. In Hayward on New Years Eve.
Alameda County typically has the greatest number of Sobriety Check points.
